Alba Baptista was
born in Lisbon, Portugal, to a Portuguese mother and a Brazilian father. Her
father is an engineer from Rio de Janeiro, and her mother worked as a
translator. She grew up in a multicultural household and attended a German
school in Portugal. She is multilingual, fluent in Portuguese, English, French,
Spanish, and German.
Career
Alba began her
acting career at 16 with her role in Simão Cayatte's short film
"Miami", for which she won the Best Actress Award at the Festival
Ibérico de Ciné.
