Pierce Brosnan began his career in theater and television in the late 1970s and rose to fame
for his role as the titular character in the television series "Remington
Steele" (1982-1987). However, his global stardom skyrocketed when he was
cast as James Bond, portraying the iconic spy in four films: GoldenEye (1995),
Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The World Is Not Enough (1999), and Die Another Day
(2002).
In addition to his Bond films, Brosnan has acted in numerous other successful movies, such as The
Thomas Crown Affair (1999), Mamma Mia! (2008), and The Ghost Writer (2010). As
